Where to find free and paid activities and events in Buenos Aires

Turismo Buenos Aires Buenos Aires has it's own tourism site (https://turismo.buenosaires.gob.ar/) that is generally a good place to start for any free events and activities. These events can get very popular because they are things to do on a budget. One event I went to was at the Mexican Embassy celebrating Día de los Muertos. The line to enter the embassy wrapped around the entire block.

Ticketek Argentina For paid events and activities I find that a lot of events are purchased through Ticketek Argentina. Here you'll find concert tickets, sporting events, & musicals. If you are interested in attending the Argentina ATP Open, Argentina WTA Open, or Argentina Challenger you'll purchase your tickets though this platform.

Major Tourist Spots You'll often find events and activities near major tourist spots such as Plaza Italia, the Obelisco, Puerto Madero, and near Recoleta Cemetery. These areas are great for walking around, grabbing dinner, or attending an event.

Where to find plays and shows in Buenos Aires

Complejo Teatral Argentina If you are interested in attending a play or show in Argentina a great place to look is Complejo Teatral De Buenos Aires BA website. Teatro Sarmiento near Plaza Italia and Ecoparque is a great theater I visited. If you are able to attend the theater during the week you will often find cheaper tickets.

Microteatro This hidden gem offers short 15min plays in Spanish and is great place to grab some drinks and watch multiple different plays. Check out their website or (Google Map Listing)[https://g.co/kgs/AMXDowd] for more details.

Where to find Museums to attend in Buenos Aires

Google Maps If you are interested in attending any museums I would recommend searching for museos on Google Maps. Here you'll find some options near you. Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and Centro Cultural Recoleta are free options to consider!

Where to get Tickets for Football Matches in Buenos Aires

Interested in seeing some football during your trip to Buenos Aires? While Boca Juniors and River Plate matches can be more difficult to attend since you need to be a member, open to paying for tickets with a higher price tag, or know someone who knows someone you do have some great alternatives that you can purchase legit tickets directly from the website of football clubs like Independiente and Racing.

Where to find Tango Shows in Buenos Aires

You'll find a number of tango shows in the barrios San Telmo & Monserrat. Tango shows can range in price from around $20 to over $100 and some include an entire dinner. Be sure to look around on Google and you will definitely be able to find one that fits in your budget.

Where to go to the Movie Theater in Buenos Aires

If you are interested in attending the movie theater Cinépolis at Recoleta Shopping Mall, Cinemark Palermo near Alto Palermo Shopping Mall, and Cinemark at Hoyts Abasto are great places to watch a movie in the theater.

No fluff. Just real projects, real value, and the path from code to cash — one useful build at a time.
